Three volunteers collected water quality data and water samples in 2016. The collection effort was again part of the Dakota Water Watch program. In 2016, Dakota Water Watch scaled back the amount of bacteria monitoring done, especially on lakes. In most cases, e. coli bacteria amounts have been very low on lakes. The mid lake sampling results again put Clear Lake in the Eutrophic measurement for Trophic Status. A detailed report can be found in the Publications page on this website.
