Clear Lake Turtle Study
Associate Professor Amy Dolan and team are conducting a longitudinal study about our turtles. What a neat project, in addition, this study provides great information regarding the health of our turtles. Thank you for sharing!
She shared a brief introduction:
I am an Associate Professor of Biology at Northern State University. My family has a cabin on Clear Lake, and some of our best times have been spent there! It is a truly special place. I found our original research site while canoeing with my three kids and feel lucky to get to learn more about the lake and its ecosystem. If anybody sees a turtle with a number on its shell, please note the number (or take a picture!), where you spotted it and let it continue on its way.
